Due to popular demand, the Tavares, Eustis & Gulf Railroad is proud to be bringing back it’s Wild West train rides on the fourth Saturday of every month! Choose from two one-hour train rides bound for the old west! Climb aboard the and journey back to a time of cowboys and desperadoes, and the lawmen who tried to keep the peace. Warning: Passengers may encounter robbers and gunfire along the way. Your safe return will be celebrated with an old-fashioned Hoedown at ALS Dockside (located only a few short blocks from the train depot). Train fare includes a delicious, slow-cooked barbecue dinner, with choice of sandwich, one side, and a drink. Kids menu also available. Guests will enjoy live musical entertainment at the waterfront venue.

Passengers will enjoy a sampling of premium wines and an assortment of tapas while riding the rails of Lake County on board the famous movie train! Each passenger will receive a flight of four specially selected wines to taste, then will receive complimentary pours of their favorites in their own commemorative “Orange Blossom Cannonball” wine glass for the remainder of the ride. The wines will be accompanied by a variety of prepared tapas. The train departs the station in Tavares at 6:00 and will return at approximately 8:00. The Downtown Tavares Waterfront Entertainment District will have plenty of live entertainment throughout the night and passengers are encouraged to visit the participating restaurants which line Ruby St and Main Street. By presenting your Orange Blossom Cannonball wine glass, you will receive $1 off any glass of wine your purchase in the restaurants within the Entertainment District.
